Information on the jonas brothers new album!

Jonas Brothers’ highly anticipated new album Lines, Vines and Trying Times is scheduled for world wide release June 16, and the ramp up kicks off May 8 with the release of the first single, “Paranoid.” On May 8, “Paranoid” will roll out to radio and online worldwide, and on Verizon for ring tones. The single will be available for digital download on iTunes staring May 12. The video for “Paranoid” will be directed by The Malloys, who previously worked with Jonas Brothers on their smash hit single and video “Burnin’ Up.”

Lines, Vines and Trying Times showcases an incredible musical journey by the Jonas Brothers, as well as their growth as songwriters and musicians. They’ve incorporated horns into several songs, as well as harmonicas and peddle steel guitars. The first single, “Paranoid,” is a guitar driven dance evoking song, and the entire CD is a veritable smorgasbord of pop and rock gems. “World War III” is a funk metaphor for a confrontational relationship. Written by Nick Jonas, he asserts, “This is a personal experience for me. ‘World War III’ deals with the challenge of a girl who keeps attacking you, provoking you, trying to fight you, but all the while she’s the only one fighting.” “Fly With Me” which is also the end title credit for the upcoming “Night At The Museum 2″ film (due in theaters May 22), was written by Jonas Brothers and their bass player Greg Garbowsky, and is sure to become a love song for the ages. On “Poison Ivy” Jonas Brothers added a horn section. In their summer music preview issue, Rolling Stone described the ultracatchy “Poison Ivy” as a “Weezer-ish tune about a toxic girl that you can’t resist.” “Hey Baby” is a classic “she done him wrong” song written entirely by Jonas Brothers. “We wrote this song for the last record while on the road and felt the old school sound was more cohesive with our present style,” explains Nick Jonas.

With all these themes, it’s easy to see how Jonas Brothers came up with the title Lines, Vines and Trying Times. Says Joe Jonas, “Lines are the “proverbial” lines people will feed you, and vines are obstacles that get in your way.” Adds Kevin Jonas, “Trying Times can be relationships, or anything personal to you. No one is alone in that; we all go through it.”

Lines, Vines and Trying Times is the follow up to the #1 debut of A Little Bit Longer and the # 5 debut of Jonas Brothers. Executive produced by Kevin Jonas, Sr., the album was A&R’d by Jon Lind and produced by John Fields. The multi-platinum Jonas Brothers received their first Grammy nomination this year, and have won a slew of awards from around the world, including an American Music Award, as well as multiple Kids’ Choice and Teen Choice awards. Worldwide, Jonas Brothers have sold a combined 8.1 million albums, and have garnered a resounding total of 36 gold and platinum album certifications. Following the release of Lines, Vines and Trying Times Jonas Brothers are set to embark on the US portion of their “Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009″ on June 20 in Dallas. The tour features guests Jordin Sparks and Honor Society. As previously announced, they will co-host and perform on Canada’s Much Music Video Awards the following day.

Lines, Vines and Trying Times will be released on Hollywood Records. Jonas brothers are done with next album!

Just two months shy of their June 15 release date, the Jonas Brothers have completed work on their new album, tentatively titled Lines, Vines and Trying Times.
The guys have been hard at work on the album, a follow-up to last year’s A Little Bit Longer, for a good part of the year, in addition to filming their TV show, “JONAS,” and getting ready to hit the road this summer.
“Guess what everybody, we just finished the record!” Kevin Jonas wrote, Tweeting under his nickname, K2. “I’m pretty sure it’s the most excited I’ve ever been about one of our albums ever!”
Perhaps in a celebratory mood, a couple hours later, Joe and Nick decided to spend the rest of the day playing with their dog. “Throwing the baseball in the backyard with Elvis,” Nick wrote under his nickname, Mr. President.
Back in February, when MTV News caught up with the Jonas Brothers during their Theater Invasion Tour, Joe said of the album: “We’re really proud of it. It’s a good step for who we are as musicians. As we get older, so does our music. There’s a lot more horns and it’s really fun. I think people are going to be able to jam out to it in their cars or their mom’s cars or their boom boxes.”
Then a few weeks later, Nick added, “We’re trying to learn as much as we can, continuing to grow,” citing such influences as Elvis Costello, the Zutons, Kings of Leon and even Neil Diamond for the album, which is being produced by John Fields.
“[The album is] our journal in songs,” Nick said, adding that the tracks are about “things we’ve gone through, personal experiences we get inspiration from. We’ve also been working on trying to use metaphors … to kind of mask a literal thing that happens to us.”

Meet Christopher Cyrus. He's 17, blonde, built and has the looks of a movie star. He's also the hunky half-brother of Miley Cyrus — the mega-star sister he never sees. The love child of Billy Ray Cyrus and Kristin Luckey lives in a suburb of Fort Worth, Texas with his mother and stepfather. "Christopher has seen Miley fewer than five times in his entire life, mostly when they were little kids," Kristin tells Star. Kristin was a waitress in South Carolina when she got pregnant with Christopher in July 1991 during a brief relationship with Billy Ray. They had split by the time their son was born the following April — and by then, Billy Ray was back in his home state of Kentucky where Miley's mom Tish was pregnant with her. A source tells Star, "Tish is a very vindictive woman. Because Billy Ray was seeing Kristin around the same time he was seeing her, she wants him and everyone else in the family to have as little to do with Christopher as possible." Still, Kristin hopes her son can connect with his famous dad and sister. “Christopher definitely wants to have a better relationship with his father. Doug Crowell, owner of Brooklyn restaurant Buttermilk Channel (one of my favorite restaurants in all of New York — NOT just Brooklyn, mind you, and Michael Showalter agrees, people!), Tweeted this photo of a delish-looking Jonas Brothers cookie. Nomnomnom.The Jonas cookie is from Marquet Patisserie in Brooklyn, and it’s $3. I just called, and they have one left. So, run, don’t walk. (Lest I get there first.)
Mmmm. Jonas Brothers cookies! And seriously, their hair looks extraordinary, even in fondant form, or airbrushed sugar or whatever that is. Don’t ask me. I only know how to make a Jonas Brothers milkshake. (I’ll be revealing the name of the Jonas shake soon, by the way!)
